Boys Basketball: Gregg's 23 points help key Chieftains
TIFFIN -- Alec Gregg carried most of Hopewell-Loudon's offensive load, scoring 23 points in the Chieftains' 70-61 win over Tiffin Calvert in a Midland Athletic League boys basketball matchup on Tuesday.

Gregg drilled four 3-pointers and converted seven free throws, but also recorded three assists and three steals.

Hopewell-Loudon used a 25-10 second-quarter edge to take a 10-point halftime lead and never let the Senecas (0-2) gain ground.

Tyler Imes (13 points) and Garret Sendelbach (11 points) each reached double figures as the Chieftains shot 51 percent (21-41) from the field.

Austin Ball scored 19 points to lead Tiffin Calvert.
