Football: Decker's two TDs key Ada, 26-21
ADA -- Kellon Decker scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter Friday night and Ada outlasted North Central Conference rival Crestview 26-21 to remain unbeaten.

With the scored tied 14-14 heading into the fourth quarter, Decker scored on a 2-yard run to put Ada (7-0, 5-0 NCC) ahead with 9:24 left in the game, but the Bulldogs missed the extra point.

After Crestview (3-4, 2-3) scored a touchdown and converted the extra point just two minutes later, the Knights led by a point with 7:18 left.

Decker caught a 69-yard scoring pass from quarterback Mason Acheson with 6:53 to play to give Ada the lead for good.

Ada ran for 359 yards and Acheson threw for another 208 on 13 of 23 attempts, including three touchdowns.

Crestview gained 436 total yards, including 284 on the ground.



COLUMBUS GROVE 7

DELPHOS JEFFERSON 6

DELPHOS -- Columbus Grove didn't need to be explosive on offense on Friday night.

The Bulldogs needed only one touchdown and a strong performance by the defense to knock off Delphos Jefferson 7-6 in a Northwest Conference game.

Dakota Vogt scored the only TD for CG, rushing one yard in the second quarter as the Bulldogs took the lead for good en route to their second consecutive victory. CG is now 4-3 overall and 2-3 in the NWC.

Jefferson scored in the opening quarter on a 4-yard run by Zavier Buzard but its extra-point attempt was missed. The Bulldogs responded in the second and Mason Smith's point-after kick was the difference.

CG tallied 153 yards while Jefferson finished with 170. Colin Grothaus completed 2 of 3 passes for 37 yards and Joey Warnecke rushed for 88 yards to pace the Bulldogs.

SPENCERVILLE 22

BLUFFTON 0

SPENCERVILLE -- Bluffton's offense struggled from start to finish against Spencerville and the result was a 22-0 loss to the Bearcats in a Northwest Conference game on Friday night.

The Pirates churned out just 101 yards while the Bearcats tallied 295 yards.

Zach Wilson was the leading rusher for the Pirates (3-4, 2-3 NWC) and Mitchell Ault completed 3 of 13 passes for 22 yards. He was picked off twice. Both teams fumbled three times.

The Bearcats led 6-0 at halftime and scored 16 points in the second half to seal the deal. John Smith rushed for 146 yards and scored one TD for Spencerville.
