Prep boys golf: Shoemaker leads Findlay at Dublin Jerome tourney
DUBLIN -- Will Mason shot a 1-over-par 73 to win medalist honors and lead Upper Arlington to a first place finish in the Dublin Jerome Honorary Invitational on Saturday at Riviera Golf Club.

Upper Arlington won the event with a 304, three shots ahead of Dublin Jerome (Green). Cincinnati St. Xavier (316), Dublin Coffman (318) and Pickerington North (319) rounded out the top five.

Findlay finished in a three-way tie for 11th place in the 15-team tournament. Spencer Shoemaker had the low round of the day for Findlay with a 79, followed by Mason McCool and Kevin Lewis, both with an 87, and Earl Streacker, who shot a 97.
