Locally: Leppelmeier throws discus 152-2 at Carey
Due to a clerical error an incorrect distance was reported from Tuesday's girls track triangular meet between Carey, McComb and Vanlue.

McComb's Becca Leppelmeier won the girls discus with a toss of 152-2 in the meet held at Carey. Her throw is the top toss in the state this season in all three divisions and is the top effort ever by a girl in The Courier's 30-school circulation area.

The previous best was a 150-6 by Liberty-Benton's Alyssa Gary last season.
