Local SportsMonday, February 04, 2013Prep hockey: Bowling Green defeats TrojansBowling Green took a 3-0 lead, then held off Findlay to post a 4-2 Northwest Hockey Conference win over the Trojans on Sunday afternoon at the BGSU Ice Arena. Blake Powers scored BG's first goal and assisted on the next two. Drew Thompson and Mason Williams had goals for Findlay (3-4-2 NHC). After knocking off Sylvania Northview in an overtime shootout on Friday and beating Springboro 3-2 Saturday, Findlay fell to 20-10-1 with Sunday's loss to Bowling Green. Subscribe to The Courier. |
