Hyde is invited to participate in Shrine Game
FOSTORIA -- Fostoria High School graduate Micah Hyde was one of three University of Iowa players selected to play in the East-West Shrine Game.

Hyde, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back, shared Iowa's MVP award and started all 38 games in his final three seasons. Hyde earned the Big Ten's Tatum-Woodson Defensive Back of the Year Award and was a first-team all-Big Ten selection by both league coaches and the media for 2012.

Hyde is tied for 18th in career interceptions (8) and tied for 34th in career tackles (240) at Iowa.

The Shrine Game will be played at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. The contest will be broadcast by the NFL Network.
